The Rainbow Fleur de Lis Walking Tour is a leisurely sashay through New Orleans LGBT+ history. Based on the research I’ve conducted for my books, this tour focuses on what makes New Orleans queer history distinctive, including Gay Carnival, Southern Decadence, the Up Stairs Lounge arson, and the city’s unique heritage of gay literature. Recently featured in “Prejudice and Pride,” an ABC News Documentary, the Rainbow Fleur de Lis Walking Tour has received critical acclaim from both local and national media outlets, including NPR, USA Today, Queerty, GayCities.com, The Advocate, and OUT Traveler with Will and James. The General French Quarter Tour is a wonderful introduction to America’s most fascinating neighborhood. I’ll offer you an insider’s look at not only historic sites and amazing architecture, but also the characters that make the French Quarter unique. Let me peel back the tourist veneer and show you the local’s French Quarter. To book this tour, call 504-941-1633 or email me at frankearlperez@gmail.com
The Marigny Walking Tour is a stroll through one of New Orleans’ oldest and most eclectic neighborhoods. This tour features Frenchmen Street, History of Jazz, Washington Square Park, Architectural Variety, Free People of Color, Creole Culture, and Ethnic Diversity. Along the way, you’ll experience a vibrant neighborhood from a local’s perspective. To book this tour, call 504-941-1633 or email me at frankearlperez@gmail.com
The Literary Heritage Tour is a fascinating exploration of New Orleans’ literary heritage. As we walk the French Quarter, you’ll see where famous writers lived and drank as they drew inspiration from the bohemian atmosphere of the city. In addition to writers such as Walt Whitman, Tennessee Williams, William Faulkner, Anne Rice, Truman Capote, Grace King, Sherwood Anderson, William Burroughs, Charles Bukowski and others, tour topics include the literary contributions of 19th Century Free People of Color, local literary festivals, independent avant-garde literary journals such as The Double Dealer and The Outsider, and hidden gem independent bookstores. To book this tour, call 504-941-1633 or email me at frankearlperez@gmail.com
The Voodoo Tour separates fact from fiction and delves into the mysterious history and practice of Voodoo in New Orleans. This ancient religion came to the New World with enslaved people and was quickly outlawed and demonized; yet, its practice persists even today. On this tour you will discover why. Highlights include a visit to an authentic Voodoo shop and information on the famous Voodoo Queen, Marie LaVeau. To book this tour, call 504-941-1633 or email me at frankearlperez@gmail.com

Commercial Tours
If you’re interested in a traditional, commercial tour, you need to know there are literally dozens of tour companies operating in New Orleans offering everything from topical walking tours to standardized bus tours of the city. Searching online or even perusing a brochure rack for the right tour can be overwhelming.
When I founded the Crescent City Tour Booking Agency in 2012, my goal was to offer visitors unbiased suggestions on how to best experience New Orleans based on the visitors’ interests and personality. For that reason, my tour booking agency is not affiliated with any specific tour company. We are able to sell almost any tour in New Orleans. But not all tour companies are created equal; some are better than others. My staff and I go on as many tours as we can on a regular basis in order to fit a tour to your needs and preferences. The most popular tours are swamp tours, both airboats and pontoon boats. Ghost tours come in a close second. If you drink enough, you may see a ghost! A complete list of tours is below. In addition to booking tours, we also offer itinerary planning.
Common tours in New Orleans: City, Swamp, Plantation, French Quarter, Cemetery, Ghost, Garden District, and Riverboat Harbor Cruises.
